The Development Strategy of Recreational Fisheries –A Case Study of Taoyuan Jhuwei Fishing Harbor Sea Porducts Center / 休閒漁業發展策略之研究—以桃園竹圍漁港魚貨直銷中心為例

The thesis is to study Taoyuan Jhuwei Fishing Harbor Sea Products Center’s marketing status quo and problems. By interviewing the relevant entrepreneurs and collecting vistors’ questionnaires to do the SWOT analysis, it can provide the concrete suggestion of future development strategy and the improvement to improve the development of Taoyuan Jhuwei Fishing Harbor Sea Products Center. The findings in the study are as follows: Managers of Sea Products Center needs to be strengthened in leisure facilities, a vendor management, parking spaces and fresh district clerk cordial degree.In order to improve the operation effectiveness, the service quality and develop new businesses, following suggestions are provided:Here are also some suggestions for the fishermen’s association. First, incorporate resources of harbor, village, natural beauty and culture to create a recreational harbor that meet the fashion and people’s need. Also, it can facilitate the development of Fishing Harbor Sea Center. Second, If rules of building and managing in the fishing harbor area could be revised actively by the government, the investment from the private person or companies would come. Here are also some suggestions for the fishermen’s association. First, to set a manage department could help promote the efficiency and the service quality in the fishing harbor sea products center. Second, the fishermen’s association should invest to gain more profit in improving the infrastructure or supply some facilities. Third, to help the fishermen try to promote their products through the creative packages, combining the same industries, or the alliance of the different industries could benefit a lot, and the cooperation with local government to hold a cultural festival works as well. Next, the advantages could help build the brand image. Last, to issue the transport coupons could increase the tourists’ willing of consuming.
