碩士 / 崑山科技大學 / 數位生活科技研究所 / 101 / Along with progressive advancement in communication technology and mobile devices, people’s lifestyle has change a lot. In 2008, Taiwan government began to promote development of digital tourism. “Cultural and Creative Industries Development Law” enacted in 2010 further promotes rapid development of digital contents for creative life with handheld mobile devices. The advances in handheld mobile device have made tourism more convenient. Through tourist behavior questionnaire survey and analysis, this study found tourists’ theme preferences, methods of data searching and usage of mobile devices, as well as how travel guidance in handheld mobile device can help user know better of historic districts during tour. After extracting important factors from tourist behavior questionnaires, a Shennong Street guide web site model is constructed. We use System Usability Scale (SUS) analysis and find: with Shennong Street guide web site constructed by “self-adaptive web site technology”, users have more interests and better understanding in historic district. Brand name establishment enhances residents, local merchants and Tourist Company’s identity of their historic district. With the help of Shennong Street guide web site, cultural and humanistic can be broadcasted and delivered to tourist through hand held mobile devices, and tourists gain closer feeling toward the area they visit.
The present research also shows that web page won’t disappear due to growth of APP, but becomes a part of APP design. When a web page presents good brand name identity, favorable interactivity and effective information integration, it will bring high commercial benefit to APP. What’s more, combination of web page and APP with local economic development promoted by tourism is an urgently-needed development mode for “cultural and creative industry” in the future.
