Applying Analytical Network Process Method on the competitiveness of overseas satellite offices of travel agencies / 應用分析網路程序法(ANP)分析旅行社在海外設立跨國公司經營競爭力之研究

碩士 / 銘傳大學 / 觀光事業學系碩士在職專班 / 101 / In recent years, the establishment of overseas offices has been one of the necessary steps in expansion for many enterprises. With the increase of travel abroad and the growth of associated expense, travel has become an indispensable activity for the general public. In order to provide better travel products to the consumers, business in tourism industry is going overseas, one after another, to set up satellite companies so that they can maintain the competitive advantage in management through global scale efficient purchasing power and supplier negotiations.
There are five (5) dimensions and fourteen (14) measures of competition that affect travel companies that go overseas for setting up satellite offices be discussed. Through applications of Analytical Network Process (ANP) method, the calculated weight values from established network structure analyze and evaluate the sequence of competitive management indicators for travel companies that establish satellites overseas. The result of the top five (5) competitive management indicators are: quality, brand loyalty, consumer service ability, client relations management, and brand images. Additionally, among companies L, P and J, the discussion will choose the most competitive company that goes abroad for setting up satellite offices.
This study can be used as a reference for strengthening the management competitiveness by travel companies that have overseas set up.
