碩士 / 明道大學 / 設計學院碩士班 / 101 / These years, the designers in Taiwan have applied a lot of oriental traditional culture substance on style design field and it has injected new elements into international fashion. The added value and precious culture elements and meanings on the designed products are more important than its consuming function.
The thesis is divided by three sections. The first section is to review the popular commercial folk pictures-「Calendar Picture」. The pictures convey the modern woman style and citizen life at that time. The second section is to describe the analysis and usage of the colors, styling and emotion from Calendar Pictures as the inspiration of entire styling creation. The third section is to describe how the combination of tradition and modernism is presented on woman cosmetics and entire styling through photographing added by the experience of the entire styling and the creation design theory from the author.
The conclusion of this thesis is focused on the value and meanings of tradition exist. Because of globalized trend, western fashion main stream dominates the development of beauty. The author makes it possible to be accepted by the current society by using the resource and inspiration of Shanghai traditional art with creative modern female fashion on entire styling. On one hand, it is to create and continue the traditional way of beauty; on the other hand, it is also to verify the value of the national status.
Exhibition Performance:
It is expected to develop the traditional and fashionable entire styling and combine its creation procedure and possibility.
In addition, it is to provide the practicability and value of traditional art.
