Application of tsunami wastes on recycled concrete / 日本311海嘯廢棄物於再生混凝土之應用

碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 土木工程學系所 / 101 / After artificial classification of waste concrete blocks and wood wastefrom the tsunami area of311 earthquake(Kesennuma cityin Eastern Japan) were used in this study for recycle concrete research. The waste material of concrete and wood were used to replace coarse natureaggregate. We use different surface clean extent of waste concreteaggregate(clean, simple cleaned and without clean) and different amount of replacement (10% and 30%) of waste material of wood to make concrete and take it into the test of the compressive strength, splitting strength, permeability, absorption, the ratio of electric conduction and ponding of salt to analyze the basic properties of concrete.
The test results show that the surface clean extent of recycled aggregate influencelittle on recycled concretestrength. The compression strength of concrete made of waste concrete aggregate is 80% of normal concrete. The ratio of replacement of waste wood material is the main reason which influences the strength. The strength of 10% of replacement of waste wood material is about 70% of normal concrete and the strength of 30% of replacement of waste wood material is about 50% of normal concrete.
Besides, although the waste material of concrete without clean does not reduce the strength obviously, it will make the problem of workability when mixing. This should be noticed when mixing on the construction site.
