The effect of Spirulina on Immunomodulation / 螺旋藻對於免疫調節功能的影響

碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 食品暨應用生物科技學系所 / 101 / The research is about the Spirulina which may increase the Immuno- modulation of the mice which has been fed on the Spirulina . We take the Spirulina as samples to feed BALB/c mice, and those mice were separated into two groups: non-specific immune response group and the specific immune response group. Each group consisted of five minor groups, which three groups with different doses: comparison group and control group. After four week''s feeds, the non-specific immune response group was used to analyze the mice''s immune about cytokines, antibodies, macrophages, natural killer cells, spleen cells cultures and cells proliferation responses. In the other hands, the specific immune response group was sensitizingd by OVA and observing its specific antibodies, cytokines and cells proliferation responses.
The result shows that the mice which were fed with Spirulina could significantly increase the quantities of specific antibodies IgM, IgG, also the activity of macrophages and natural killer cells. In conclusion, Spirulina can help mice''s immune to increase.
