The new style pilot pin to study the process capability of progressive dies / 新式樣引導沖頭對於連續沖壓模具之製程能力研究

碩士 / 國立勤益科技大學 / 機械工程系 / 101 / Continuous stamping process,pre-punching the workpiece of its positioning will affect the accuracy of finished products, because the process of feeding, pre-stamping of the workpiece will be due to the feeding mechanism in the pressure material rods to relax with a fixed process, resulting in positioning the workpiece to produce dimension error, will result in finished products the dimensions is also affected, resulting in bad accuracy. Therefore are taken in a continuous stamping process to install the pilot pin positioning workpiece, hoping to reduce the dimension error, workpiece of the guide hole diameter as the material contraction followed by narrow, so the general pilot pin to the punch diameter is smaller than the piercing punch diameter of 0.03mm or more , so that the formation of a gap between the pilot pin and the workpiece guide holes. In each of the stamping process, because the gap between the pilot pin and workpiece guide hole is too large, so that the workpiece to produce the dimension error will not be able to improve the finished precision. In this study, the design of the new style pilot pin,the pilot pin diameter smaller than the diameter of the piercing punch 0.02mm, the pre to guide the punch and workpiece guide hole of the gap narrowing, the pre improve the pressing material rod to relax and clamping affect the dimension error of the workpiece positioning . But to pilot pin and the workpiece guide hole gap is too small will produce workpieces rise with the pilot pin. Therefore, in order to avoid the workpiece with the rising pilot pin install ejector device to the top out workpiece. The first one is the pilot pin diameter (2.98mm) diameter less than piercing punch (3 mm) 0.02mm, this study design is new style pilot pin , the second one is the pilot pin diameter (2.97mm)less than piercing punch diameter (3mm) 0.03mm, the third one is no pilot pin. The each group stamping completion of the finished product by CMM to measure the dimensions of the finished eight important dimensions data, and then on behalf of these data into process capability of accuracy and precision formula for computing three process way precision degree of accuracy, and computing the integrated process capability index. The results of this study confirm the new style pilot pin, which can effectively improve the precision of the finished product and the accuracy and the integrated process capability index.
