A Study of the Visionary Leadership and International Education of the Principle of Nantou County Si-Hai Junior High School / 南投縣四海國中校長願景領導與國際教育之相關研究

碩士 / 國立彰化師範大學 / 教育研究所 / 101 / The purpose of this study is to discuss the current status of the visionary leadership and international education of the principle of Nantou County Si-Hai Junior High School. Firstly, we discussed the fundamental theory and correlative researches through collecting and analyzing correlative literatures. Secondly, we concluded from the statics, analysis as well as interviews. We have made some suggestions, hoping to provide the department of education administration, principles of junior high schools, educational personnel, and other researchers with references. The fifty three effective data were analyzed with SPSS(Version 18.0) for windows and some statistics tools such as descriptive statistics、T test、one way ANOVA.
According to the analysis of the data, the following is the conclusion of this study:
1.The visionary leadership and international education of the principle of Nantou County Si-Hei Junior High School is considered to be the Type Nine leadership(self actualization type) which is higher than average, and clear-leadership is relatively the highest.
2.On the visionary leadership side, the study has shown: Those teachers who have different background in their age, positions, seniority, the vision of school, the experience in participating international educational courses and in conducting international matters would have salient different in their leadership characteristics and in the culture of organizing .
3.On the international education side, the study has shown:
(1)Those teachers who have different background in their age, positions, seniority, the vision of school, the experience in participating international educational courses and in conducting international matters would have salient different in adapting to international education courses, in international communication, in the teachers’ training for international educational competence and in conducting international matters
(2)The international educational policies have not built up a international vision, a goal and the characteristics yet. The international educational policies are based on the policies of Ministry of Education.
4.From the visions、responsibilities、management strategies and developments of the principle of Nantou County Si-Hai Junior High School at the stage when the school was funded, we have found:
(1)The visions are vigorous and creative、caring、adaptive inspirable and diversified.
(2)The responsibilities are adaptive educations、attendance on everyone;great children more outstanding and ordinary children extraordinary.
(3)The management strategies are five “tions”(perception、reception、vibration、appreciation、reflection) and five “ings”(administration implementing、teachers acting、parents visiting、community interacting、students activating).
According to the results of the study above, we have some recommendation which can be references for the department of education administration、 educational personnel, and other researchers
