Application of the Column Exchange Method for Estimating Netwok Origin-Destination Trip Demand Matrices / 應用變數交換法推估起迄對運輸需求矩陣之研究

碩士 / 國防大學管理學院 / 運籌管理學系 / 101 / In the process of transportation planning and operation, it’s an important issue to assign traffic flows to network effectively. In the trip distribution, Origin- Destination(O-D)demands matrix are essential reference data. Due to the advancement of the technology, obtaining link flows is not inaccessibly anymore. Thus, there has been plenty of researches indicated estimating the O-D trip models from the link flows recently, such as the least squares method, the maximum likelihood estimator, the bi-level programming approach and the conditional inverse matrix. All of them were applied widely and developed ceaselessly. Conditional inverse matrix contained two properties: the calculation is simpler and the results are more similar to the real networks. However, the estimation process of the conditional inverse matrix exist the phenomenon in multi-solutions of the path flows, and made estimation was a variety of results further. In this paper, we combined conditional inverse matrix with the column exchange method and then applied to the least squares method. We utilized the optimization of objective function to minimize the deviation between estimated results and historical demands, and applied simulated annealing method obtained optimal solution among feasible solutions. The result of this research can improve the accuracy and the practicability of the estimation further, and enhance the effectiveness of transport planning outstandingly.
