The logistic support of PRC passed through different strategy concepts and operations patterns which inspire the new logistic system and support protection mode. This offers the People's Liberation Army (PLA) precedes the transition process of strategy concept and operations patterns to combine with new battle models. Especially after Gulf War, the PL A learns the lesson of logistic conception which military should “acquire from the enemy, preparation on site”. The traditional PLA’s single service, vertical logistic support system would not be accommodated to the modern era. Meanwhile, to fit into the development tendency of the multi-modal space in military operations, PRC then copy the USA military information operations in the logistic support system, developing the merit concept of “Focus Support”, “Accurate Logistics, and Agile Support”. Also, under the concept of “Accurate Logistics Guarantee”, PLA combine the Ordnance Department and Maintenance Department in the brigade level into one Logistics Protection Department- to promote an efficient and smart logistic support system for future war. PLA is actively conducting military transformation although her logistics support system is still fall behind USA level. The logistic support development would be another important index for observation of the PRC military development.
