Transport Risk Analysis for Frozen Squids / 冷凍魷魚運輸風險之分析

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 航運管理研究所 / 101 / Taiwan is a major squid exporting country in the world, currently the largest squid fishing ground at Falkland Islands in southwest Atlantic Ocean. Generally the captures shipped by freezer container or reefer carrier back to Taiwan. Therefore, from dispatch reefer carriers to the fishing ground, transportation on sea, marine insurance, cargo damage claims, discharging in destined port, onshore frozen logistics and distribution are the key of safe transportation, improper transport arrangement may cause serious cargo damage in the consequent unloading, it will result in continue disputes on cargo damage responsibility between the carrier and shipper. In this study through the identification risk and assessment process, utilized the questionnaire of expert and Risk Matrix Model (RMM), make risk analysis of frozen fish cargo during the transport, finding that the risk occurrence of the highest frequency is improper packaging or bare good, secondly is the refrigeration equipment failure risk. The greatest influence on those risks is the refrigeration equipment failure, the secondly is ship or equipment fire. This study also put forwarded the case of frozen fish insurance analysis, finally recommended the prevention and control risk of transporting frozen fishery products in practice.
