碩士 / 國立屏東商業技術學院 / 經營管理研究所 / 101 / Due to the projects tend to be saturated in domestic market, and severe competition and declining margins in the industrial environment, it is necessary for Taiwaness enterprises to rethink and select the optimum living space.
Following the advent of globalization, foreign investment has become more and more important. Foreign investment has also become an inevitable trend for the development of modern corporations. In overseas strategies, the location choice is a key factor of the performance, so the enterprise must assess carefully. In summary, this study discusses the effects of location factors on business performance.
The study utilties public traded companies of computer peripherals industry and optoelectronics industry in Taiwan as the target. The second-hand data contains 82 firms in 2011 for hypothesizes testing by SPSS 17.0.
Major findings of this study as following:
1. When subsidiaries in higher rate of the environmental munificence, the better performance on the firm.
2. The more subsidiaries in non-Asian countries will strengthen the relationship between the R&D intensity and performance.
