碩士 / 國立屏東教育大學 / 中國語文學系碩士班 / 101 / Chu Boxiu is a Southern Song Dynasty Taoist priest, whose Nanhua Zhenjing Yihai Zuanwei is earliest extant Zhuangzi variorum. Seen from this, the integration of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism can be observed, within which the emphasis is put on the elucidation of Confucianism and Taoism. Therefore, this paper highlights the assimilation between the Confucianism and Taoism from the Nanhua Zhenjing Yihai Zuanwei through Chu Boxiu’s interpretation of Zhuangzi’s “Free and unfettered,” “Qiwu,” “Yangsheng” and “conduct oneself in society” thought, and compared it with the text of the Zhuangzi.
The "Will pass" is based on the ideological level. The assimilation between the Confucianism and Taoism evolution that Wang Anshi, Su Shi even Chu Boxiu is inherited the Guo Xiang annotations method. In the content, in face of the different eras, they have different contemporary issues and needs. Therefore, they developed their own respective theories.
First, Chu Boxiu referred “Tao” as the noumenon of the universe, and the Confucian “pleasure” as a realm for Free and unfettered, mental status, and effort course of the guidance. Through aborting the Neo-Confucianism thought and based on the “Tongbao Tongti” and “Liyi Fenshu” as “Qiwu’s” thinking of Zhuangzi, the relationship between heaven and man is shown. Additionally, as a Taoist priest, Chu Boxiu paid special attention to the effort of self-cultivation and the body-management with the country-management. Chu Boxiu’s various doctrines can be seen from the Nanhua Zhenjing Yihai Zuanwe.
While the assimilation between the Confucianism and Taoism reflects only one side of Chu Boxiu’s thinking, it can also reflect the characteristics of the Song Dynasty Zhuangzi’s philosophy. It is still an important basis in studying his thoughts.
