With sweeping time change , The Li-Chuan Aquafarm has undergone industry reforms from aquaculture munufacture and production to a leisure fishery. They expanded the business and prospered the local leisure industry in Shou-fong .
This study, which takes Li Chuan Aquafarm of Hualien County as its investigation object area, aims to understand Tourists’ Characteristics , Recreation Motivation, and Satisfaction, so as to explore the Relationship between the variables . Tourists in Leisure Fishery were sampled to carry out the study. A total of 394 valid questionnaires were recovered. Data collected were analyzed with the statistics software SPSS17 and statistic methods such as Descriptive Statistics , Confidence Analysis ,Independent Samples t Test, One-way ANOVA analysis , Pearson's Correlation Coefficient , and Scheffe Method related analysis . Suggestions for the reference of future development were proposed after discussions on the results of statistics analyses. Research result as followings:1) The participants with different ages,occupation, education level, average income, residence , companion, numbers of companion, travel information and visiting times have significant differences over recreation motivation . 2) The participants with different gender, ages,occupation, education level, average income, residence , numbers of companion, travel information and visiting times have significant differences over Satisfaction. 3) The relationship among Tourist Characteristics, Recreation Motivation, and Satisfaction is positive, and reaches the level of statistical significance.
