The study of CO2 emission from ship operating in the port of Kaohsiung / 船舶作業二氧化碳排放量之探討-以高雄港為例

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋環境資訊學系 / 101 / In this study, the ship gross tonnage and regression method are used to compute the CO2 emission from year 2002 to 2011 in the port of Kaohsiung and estimate its tendency and growth rate. The result shows that the container ship is the main role for CO2 emission (contains 40% emission), next is bulk carrier contains 26%, oil tanker contains 18%, the last is miscellaneous cargo ships containing 16%. Based on the year 2002, the 10-year tendency for CO2 emission rate in the Kaohsiung port is from -0.4 % to 5.3% for the first five years (2002~2006), the rate turns up from 4.3% up to 14.5% during the last five years (2007~2011). The emission volume in the last five years has more increasing than the first five years by 7 % .
