碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋環境資訊學系 / 101 / The present study analyzed the decadeal variation of water quality of the northern coastal water adjacent of the Nuclear Power Plant I and II. The water quality data were taken from the survey data. The statistic results showed the water quality ranges during 2001-2011 were as follows: Temperature, 15.80-29.28 °C(mean 23.13 °C);salinity, 32.53-34.56 ‰(平mean 33.92‰);dissolved oxygen, 4.16-9.6 mg/l(mean 6.5 mg/l);pH 7.92-8.33(mean 8.13); chl.a, 1.10-3.94 μg/l(mean 0.58μg/l);phosphate, 011-0.840 μM (mean 0.2μM);silicate 0.19-21.25μM (mean 5.65 μM);nitrite, 0.04-1.57 μM(mean 0.44 μM);nitrate, 0.03-19 μM (mean 3.64μM). Temperature, pH, chlorophyll a, phosphate, nitrate and nitrite showed decrease and the annually average variation was: -0.0039℃/y for Temperature; -0.0002/y for pH; -0.0006 μg/l/y for chlorophyll a; -0.0011 μM/y for phosphate; -0.0005 μM/y for nitrite; and -0.0035 μM/y for nitrate. In contrast, Salinity, dissolved oxygen and silicate exhibited inecrease and the annually average variation was: +0.0008 ‰/y for salinity; +0.028 mg/l/y for dissolved oxygen; and +0.02 μM/y for silicate.
Keywords: northern Taiwan coastal water, water quality, nutrients, annual variation.
