碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 電機工程學系 / 101 / With the broad application of advanced technology in shipbuilding, the integration of power and control technology has become a key development of the modern ship. Power electronics technology can improve the efficiency of the energy conversion process. As the power electronics devices are composed of semiconductor switching elements, these devices will generate non-sinusoidal waveforms.
The wide application of power converter equipments on ship causes harmonic problems which have become more and more serious. For limiting the harmonic distortion, several international organizations have proposed various harmonic regulation standards and provide useful information for system planning and equipment evaluation. In general, to install filter is an effective and economical method for suppressing harmonics. But before designing suitable filters, we should consider the problem of resonance. In this thesis, a sample shipboard electric power system is studied by the method of harmonic power flow. A power system analysis package is then used to investigate the harmonic voltage distribution of the system under different operating conditions. This study also discusses the mitigation of harmonic distortions under various measures, including adjustment of the number of inverter pulses, change of the connection of transformers, and installation of harmonic filters.
