Application of the finite element method and the Taguchi method to optimize the design of lashing bridge for container ship / 應用有限元素法和田口法於貨櫃船拉繫平台結構之最適設計研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 輪機工程系 / 101 / A container stacked on the deck depends on the additional lashing bridge to increase container stacking safety. In order to ensure the safety of lashing bridges for transportation in variety of complex sea condition in the shipping process, lashing bridge structural strength must satisfy the requirements of ABS regulation.
The purpose of this paper is to explore container ship lashing bridge structure optimal design with Taguchi method and finite element analysis. The main goal is to make the lashing bridge to reach the requirement of regulations stress. We optimize different factor design in the face type of container ship lashing bridge with the Taguchi method .The factor design is to change steel plate opening size and position. The finite element method is used to analyze the strength of the structure in the lashing bridge. We build up and mesh finite element model with different factor and analyze the structure base on von-mises stress.
Results of this research revealed that the best combination of 1800 mm opening width, 1800 mm opening length, R300 rounded corner, and steel plate located at the middle position. The significant factors are opening width and position.
