Incorporation of Marine Education in Fourth Grade Mandarin Reading Classes / 海洋教育融入國小四年級國語文閱讀教學歷程之研究

碩士 / 國立臺北教育大學 / 語文與創作學系語文教學碩士班 / 100 / This thesis is study the presentation and teaching method of Marine education in the Grade 1-9 Curriculums.
The text books, reference books, teachers and 4th grade students are objects of study. The text books were published at 2009 by three presses. Those text books is prepare for Mandarin learning. The reference books are recommended by New Taipei City Government.
This thesis is use content analysis as research method. First, the text books and reference books were being review. The distribution and choice of marine education in the text books is point at this stage. Second, the opinions from teacher were added in the study as a reference. Finally, the information was bringing to new teaching method. The results are as below:
I. The marine concept of different text books:
A. The subject-matter is not enough and narrow.
B. The identification index cannot cover whole need.
II. The reference books
A. The marine issues are few.
B. The reading materials are not attractive.
III. The method of bring marine concept to the Mandarin learning:
A. The text books are best reference.
B. Taking into account the Marine education and Mandarin learning.
The suggestions are below:
I. To education authorities
A. Review the identification index.
B. Use experience of blue star school
II. To text books presses
A. Increase the depth and width of text books.
B. Increase the diversity of text books.
III. To the teacher
A. Use diversity teaching method.
B. Taking into account the Marine education and Mandarin learning.
