The Feasibility Coastal Recreational Activities Evaluation in Taitung Taimali / 臺東太麻里地區海域遊憩活動可行性調查與評估

碩士 / 國立臺東大學 / 理工學院綠色科技產業碩士專班 / 101 / This study aims to investigate and evaluate the feasibility of coastal recreational activities in Taitung taimali. The research methods were content analysis and interviews. By content analysis, this study analyzes water activities and Taitung Taimali related study. There are 1729 Taitung Taimali geographical environment dates which were collected from Central Weather Bureau andTyphon Database in Taiwan, NDLTD and NTTU WebPAC. This dates has selected 47 of them to find the environment of common in Taitung Taimali.There were 2100 waters activities dates which were collected from NDLTD,CEPS and NTTU WebPAC. This study has selected 52 of them to choose 4 favorite categories into discussion which are surfing, scuba diving, kayaking and windsurfing in Taiwan coastal recreational activities. We had interviewed 3 experts of each of category and turned the audio records into transcriptions. Through the transcriptions, we got the suitable environment conditions of the 4 coastal recreation activities. Finally, through 3 analyst checked the match of the environment dates of Taitung Taimali and evaluated the 4 coastal recreational activities. The study results show:
1.The degree of match of each activities were arranged in order below: kayaking(75%), surfing(68%), windsurfing(60%) and recreational scuba diving(38%).
2.The suitable seasons of the 4 activitieswere as below:Surfing were spring and fall for beginner, winter for advanced; Scuba diving were spring and fall; Kayaking and Windsurfingwere every seasons.
3.The ecological impacts of the 4 activities were as below: Surfing: People could bring lots of garbage and damage the ecology; the materials of boards might cause sea pollutions. scuba diving: People might damage coral reef and illegal fishing…etc. Kayaking and windsurfing: The impacts were few.
4.The related laws of coastal recreational activities, a few experts thought that current laws have protect players from life damage and social resources waste, but many of experts thought that it still needs more completed plans.
The study conclusion show that the most suitable activity was kayaking but it still needs to find more ocean ecological resources or substitute resources. The secondary activities were surfing and windsurfing, but it should be discussed more deeply. In the last, scuba diving is not the suitable activity in Taitung Taimali.
