碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 電機工程系 / 101 / Import trading and export trading is important for Taiwan, and most part of it depends on sea transportation, so the safety of sea transporting is absolutely a significance for economical trading. This paper proposed using Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to assist port staff to check the safety of container cars and containers at the port. We simulate the real proportion of bridge machine working range by scaling down, and detect container cars and recognize container cars’ license plates and the unique container codes based on international ISO standard through image processing techniques. We also transmit real-time monitoring images by Ethernet and recognition results of license plate and container codes will instantly transmit to the designed human-computer interface to provide operators to check. Automatically transport surveillance system with dual-camera is not only make the safety of port container transport better, but also reduce the cost of labor, and can improve the efficiency of container management. DSP can easily integrated peripherals, and it is small and easy to operate independently, and it has high processing speed, so it fit the need of transport surveillance of port container.
