In order to improve the performance of military officers living standard by using the existing camp units through effective assessment analysis, after the military organization and personnel rapid reduction or adjustment.
Military base “Camp” – Area for the troopers to live, work, education, training and carry out the important mission readiness premises, business district or completeness of the facilities and maintenance management quality will affecting other than the daily work tasks, and in addition to affect directly with Camp officers on life quality, morale maintaining and impact on resident safety.
This study attempts to use value engineering (VE) to do the analysis and recommendations of ways to make the most effective use of single construction camp. Other than study the relevant literature, but also with work experience, to start with life cycle of a building and gradually explore the camp housing construction facility maintenance and management of the relevant issues, the analysis will given a conclusion on maintenance management strategy of upgrade camp facilities.
Final recommendations include setting "Facilities Maintenance Management Manual (Guidelines)" as soon as possible, priority "Addendum insufficient manpower", to strengthen the facilities maintenance and management personnel training as well as development "Facilities Maintenance Management Information System".
