碩士 / 東吳大學 / EMBA高階經營碩士在職專班 / 101 / In this study, we apply the DEA and Malmquist productivity index method using the number of employees, fixed assets, the number of ships, operating income, operating income as the input and output variables, to evaluate the Taiwan's shipping industry productivity and efficiency between 2006 to 2011 Listed domestic shipping.
The empirical results show that the number of ships increase or decresae have a significant impact the level of efficiency and productivity.
The operating income have a significant impact the level of efficiency and productivity, such as Huiyang, Siwei, Eastern, Wanhai, Daho, Evergreen, Yumin and Taiwan Airlines.
