A Study on Coast Guard Security Information System’s User Satisfaction-Southern Region as an Example / 海巡署「安檢資訊系統」使用者滿意度研究-以南部地區為例

碩士 / 樹德科技大學 / 資訊管理系碩士班 / 101 / The main task of Coast Guard Administration(CGA) is to prohibit smuggling, illegal immigration, and to prevent illegal movements of the border. For the purposes of e-Government, in the 2000s, the Administration started planning, research and development "Security Information System" to effectively improve efficiency of inspection job, reduce fishing vessels’ entering and leaving harbor security clearance time.
In recent years, a number of researches are in satisfaction of the general public for e-government systems, but less to explore satisfaction of internal official users, whose satisfaction reflects will be effective in improving public service performance, as well as to the overall administrative efficiency. In the research, the officials, who use the security information system in the Southern Region Bureau, CGA, will be the subject. The research purposes are to learn the system’s user satisfaction and quality requirements both in management and operating level.
The study refers to information system success model. The research framework has been developed, based on eight constructs: system quality, information quality, service quality, information security, perceive ease of use, perceive usefulness, reliability, and user satisfaction. The operation definition of variables have been defined, and a questionnaire has been established also. Investigation, analysis and discussion of "security information system" on the pros and cons will provide future direction for the amendment of the system in order to achieve both effectiveness and efficiency of administrative goals.
