碩士 / 亞洲大學 / 國際企業學系碩士班 / 101 / After the event of Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant arising from the Tohoku earthquake on 11 March 2011, the green Energy is one of the most important issues in the past two years. The solar industry is still in the growth stage, the supply and demand balance, technology development and industrial ecology is still in the changing status. There is still much space in the development of strategies of manufacturers in the world. The solar industry development is more flexibility in compared with other high-tech manufacturers in energy. A solar industry, Headway Electronics Co., Ltd., was conducting to the investigations in central Taiwan. Through qualitative research and in-depth interviews with accompanied by a document analysis method to control the analysis of the company’s business model. Research starting from the theoretical discussion of the current situation of Taiwan’s solar industry conducted commentary, the causes and conditions of the manufacturers to take strategic understanding of the solar energy industry. The Michael E. Porter’s model analysis and Gary Hamel’s business model theory were supplied to research methods which explored the success factors of industrial development and the case company and summarized the business model. The study found that the development-limited of solar energy industry are to raw materials, capital and technology. To face the competition of the same industry with more large-scale enterprises, enhance product differentiation and customization capabilities is the key point to the solar industry to maintain competitiveness. Finally, the discussion to analyze the results of a successful business, it is important to understand the competitive advantage of its own internal critical success factors, and the establishment of a dedicated core competence to extend the vitality of enterprises.
