碩士 / 德明財經科技大學 / 物流管理系 / 101 / There are three main telecom operators in Taiwan, they are Chunghwa Telecom(CHT)、Far Eastone Telecom(FET) and Taiwan Mobile(TCC). Meanwhile, Asia Pacific Telecom (APBW) and VIBO Telecom (VIBO) are at the position of the second line. The development of telecom industry has changed drastically, mainly focused on smart phone. The development of smart phone has grown as three times as before. The consumers’ preferences of purchase mobile phone have been transferred to the branded stores. The telecom chain stores have become stronger and stronger. The market positioning of the chain stores of telecom operator have changed rapidly during those three years. All of the operators are extending their chain stores aggressively, in order to increase the share of market in Taiwan. These existing historic telecom chain stores have been stressed seriously.
The research is an exploratory study using deep interview method, through examining the business transformation of company A, which has faced the exterior changes and intense competition. Company A needs to maintain stable revenue of chain store, but also develop the logistic service horizontally. This proposal will use Company A as the case, to explore the performance analysis. This case study focuses on the Logistic Service of Company A as the main business, in order to reveal the clues about formation of diversification strategy.
