碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 全球運籌管理研究所碩士班 / 101 / Freight Forwarder plays an important role in maritime industry. However, how to maintain competitive strength, decrease and prevent risks, and response customers quickly has become an important part. This study aims to use FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to evaluate the potential risk causes which are risk priority number (RPN) in the process of export operation in Freight Forwarder. Then, risk matrix would arrange the priority of risk priority number (RPN). And, decision tree may decide the
failure mode of RPN should be improved or not. Next, FTA (Failure Tree Analyze) would point out root causes of the failure mode and develops some ameliorative plans. Finally, a significant reduction of the risk priority number (RPN) was obtained when applying FMEA to the process of export operation in Freight Forwarder. The results show that after using FMEA, Risk Matrix, Decision Tree and FTA to point out root causes of the failure mode and develop some ameliorative plans in Case Company, the improvement RPN will reduce to 64. Total RPN will be reduced about 66.84%.
