3D Laser scanning method coastal topography changes of Taipei Port / 三維雷射掃描臺北港沿岸地形變遷之研究

Lidar can use a wide range of advantages, operating scanning needs of a wide field of view, high accuracy, high-density 3D data acquisition targets have multi-faceted, automation, self-rotation (360 o) weather scanning, portable, remote control and maneuvering to point operation, Safe and indoor environment adaptability, such as: the illumination light, ambient temperature, humidity, radiation, vibration and the like.
The 3D laser scanning technology derived from the 3D data archiving for the establishment of high-tech products, this technology combines optical and mapping profession as a rapid and accurate access to a large number of objects coordinate numerical tool, because broad range of applications, so for different applications professional project will develop different areas of software and hardware equipment, application of this technology is still in the country in its infancy, is likely to become a tool in the field of surveying and mapping the future, for spatial information retrieval will be more convenient.
In this thesis using Lidar scan measurements create, use its scanning technology, measured the production of 3D point cloud model data to build 3D scanning color overlay layer and for the Taipei Port coastal topography, erosion and siltation carried Taipei Port histogram changes and earthwork comparison.
The results found in the amount of change during the two scans (2013/9 to 2014/04) of the coastline changes ... Taipei Port area is not the expected occurrence of erosion, siltation but produce phenomena in coastal science called "jetty effect" .
