The current study aimed to investigate the teaching resources on marine education for elementary school teachers in Changhua County. Self-made questionnaire was employed and collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Ki-square test. The results of the current study indicated that:
1. The most frequently used and urgent teaching resources were:
Films or clips about oceans, online resources about oceans, and reports on oceans (with photos and illustrations).
2. The most urgent teaching resources for teachers—males, female, with at least the master’s degree, years of teaching (less than 5 years, 6 to 10 years, more than 11 years), with administrative positions, homeroom teachers as well as subject teachers, more than 49 classes, distant from oceans—were films or clips about oceans, followed by online resources about oceans, and reports on oceans (with photos and illustrations).
3. Significant differences of the demand of ten teaching resources were found among teachers—male, with at least the master’s degree, more than 11 years of teaching, homeroom teachers as well as subject teachers, adjacent to oceans, 1~10 hours of workshop participation.
