Poly(vinyl alcohol)/Sodium alginate/Angelicae Dahuricae Radix Composite Dressing: Manufacturing Technique and Property Evaluations / 聚乙烯醇/海藻酸鈉/白芷複合敷料之製備技術與特性評估

碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 纖維與複合材料學系 / 102 / For this study, preparing a composite dressing having a high moisture preparation, antimicrobial and whitening effect, the use of a polyvinyl alcohol polymer (poly(vinyl alcohol), PVA), natural materials alginate (sodium alginate, SA) and combined with Angelica Tencel®/low melting polylactic acid (LMPLA) non-woven preparations.
The experimental study of the preparation process can be divided into Tencel®/LMPLA nonwovens, Angelicae (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, AD) drugs which extracted with composite thin films prepared by dressing in three parts. At first, preparing Tencel®/LMPLA non-woven and changing Tencel®/LMPLA fiber weight ratio in the preparation process. The rolling pin and via hot pressing process for preparing non-woven. AD pills are soaked in 95% ethanol extraction which performed AD drugs by UV spectroscopy, AD extraction rate, antimicrobial resistance, tyrosinase inhibition rate of cell compatibility to assess the characteristics AD drugs. Lastly, using PVA, SA and AD combined with sprayed by electrospinning to spray Tencel®/LMPLA non-woven made of PVA/SA/AD composite dressing.
The results showed Tencel®/LMPLA via non-woven pressing, which will significantly enhance moisture retention. AD drugs at the extraction time of each group are good tyrosinase inhibition rate, antimicrobial resistance and biocompatibility. The films show that with the electrospinning of sodium alginate is added, viscosity, particle size and drug release will increase. This study successfully by electrospinning technique combined with non-woven composite prepared dressings.
