Study of design and production for High-speed bus cabin lighting and signal lights / 高速巴士客艙內照明和信號指示燈設計與製作之研究

碩士 / 崑山科技大學 / 機械工程研究所 / 102 / With the improved performance of light emitting diodes (LED), they are gradually instead of general lighting devices in the near future. Because a high demand of driving safety factor is requested, the high-speed bus LED lighting technology needs to develop to improve the performance of the bus lighting devices. To ensure the driving vehicles can provide a clear signaling and a good field of view during driving at night.
Applications of LED optical design was attracted the attention of many lamp manufacturers. Although the characteristics of LEDs, small, long life, low power consumption, vibration resistance, and fast start, has been widely approved. But both of LED and traditional light sources has a great discrepancy in optical design. Generally speaking, a traditional lighting device cannot be directly replaced by random. In order to meet the standards of the optical light distribution and to have the advantage of LED characteristics which need to develop modules to adapt the original optic system. LED lamp module is designed not only to improve the utilization of LED luminous flux but also can be achieved the requirements of the vehicle lamp illumination. In this study, secondary optical design for high-speed bus cabin lighting and signal indicator lamps are studied by applying optical simulation analysis. Finally, the high-speed bus is verified the feasibility of using LED lighting.
In addition to the optical design of vehicle LED lights, the constant current driver is very important to LED lighting systems. For the stable light output, a constant current LED driver is the premise performance of the vehicle LED lighting system. As the LED driver output characteristics depend on the LED chip and the drive circuit; therefore, the analysis of light-emitting properties of high-brightness LED was studied in addition to LED module optical design. In order to meet the needs of bus vehicle electronics applications, vehicle LED modules are designed based on light-emitting angles, the high-speed bus electrical system is analyzed, and the corresponding to the LED driver circuit is designed.
The vehicle LED lighting is selected as a beginning for the research cooperation to improve the existing drawbacks and enhance their lifetime in order to highlight the advantages of LED lamps. Two different functions of vehicle LED lighting will manufacture to verify their performance through the module designs. LED modules will except to show their specific characteristics that the cabin lighting will focus on the adequate and stable lumen brightness to avoid glaring lights.
