碩士 / 國立高雄應用科技大學 / 土木工程與防災科技研究所 / 102 / Through literature reviews and regulation studies on the disaster prevention campaign in the US and Japan, current study aims to investigate on the practical campaigns in Taiwan and their effects. The research was launched in a university located in Kaohsiung as a case study, and the results were compared with those of two above-mentioned countries. Three research methods were included, i.e collecting and analyzing national propaganda of disaster prevention and protection regulations, integrating a proper set of propaganda for community, and probing the effects by questionnaires and holding community propaganda. The major findings show that: First, the participants who had been suffered in the flood would be more willing to get involved in the Disaster Prevention Activity. Second, most participants have less participation for the Disaster Prevention Activity. With above results, hopefully we can figure out how great the effect will impact on the disaster prevention activities so that we can provide useful suggestions for disaster prevention activities which are held by the official agency in the future.
