Effects of the ractopamine on the growth, body composition, in tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus and residues / 飼料中添加萊克多巴胺對吳郭魚之成長、體組之影響及殘留

碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 獸醫學系暨研究所 / 102 / The aim of this study was to stady on the effects of the ractopamine hydrochloride (RAC) on the toxicity, growth performances, body composition, pharmacokinetics, and residues in tilapia. Total 180 tilapias were randomly separated into 3 groups on the following: high dose group (with 60 mg/ kg RAC), low dose group (with 30 mg/ kg RAC), and negative control group (with methanol as the same volume of RAC added). Both high dose and low dose groups were feed with RAC for 12 weeks. The developed HPLC method set with C18 coloume, acetonitrile : 7mM ammonium acetate solution (15 : 85) as a mobile phase (pH 7), flow rate 1.1 mL/min, and the UV-detector detects the max peak at wavelength 194 nm. The results showed that there was no significant lesions in myocardium and liver found in both high dose and low dose groups. However, both tested groups had significantly higher on weight gain compare with negative control group. Additionally, there was highest parameter of muscle protein in high dose group. But muscle lipid level decreased following with the dietary RAC level increasing were found. After given single dose 60 ppm bw/day of RAC via oral administration, the pharmacokinetic parameters T1/2, Cmax, MRT, Cl and AUC were 5.39 hr, 3 hr, 7.03 ppm, 9.4 hr, 884 ml/hr-kg, and 45 hr × μg/ml, respectively. We suggested that tilapia fed with diets supplemented with 30 and 60 ppm RAC had limited side effect, short withdral time, and positive effect on body weight gain, protein, and lipid levels in muscle tissue.
