A numerical analysis on sea water intrusions in the Pingtung Plain and its remediation strategy / 屏東平原沿海地區鹽化問題之模擬及整治策略研究

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 水利及海洋工程學系 / 102 / Coastal and inland aquaculture fisheries flourish in the Pingtung Plain result in groundwater salinization pollution problems in coastal areas. To improve the phenomenon, MODFLOW groundwater model is used in this study with its sub-modes MT3D to simulate Pingtung Plain groundwater environments and to predict the future development of salinization pollution in this region. Then the draft remediation programs are proposed to determine a better solution of the problems. Our study shows that in coastal areas, artificial recharge wells is an effective and feasible method to inhibit the salinization pollution of groundwater. There is a great explore space of the locations of recharge wells and the amount of recharge water.
