碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 海洋科技與事務研究所 / 102 / Scuba diving is one of the most prevalent marine tourism activities. Due to its increasing popularity, it is important to develop safety standards to promote the sustainable and healthy development of this recreational activity. Previous policies have focused on the certifications required for diving operations to run a diving business. However, there has been no mention of the safety culture of the industry, which is the key to deliver quality and safety diving service to customers. Therefore, this study aims to examine the current status of safety culture in this industry and provide suggestions to improve safety culture in diving industry.
