An analytic hierarchy process approach in assenting various yacht for specific users / 應用層次分析法於不同遊艇客戶之設計溝通

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 系統及船舶機電工程學系 / 102 / The selection and design of the perfect and most suitable ship/yacht is a task that gets influenced by many different factors that often concur to delay delivery and performance on the task, as in the selection of many other facts that are often approached using an ad hoc process. Such non-rigorous approaches often based on personal preference, intuition, or marketing hype, can lead to erroneous results. In this paper a rigorous model for selecting a yacht that best suits the customer’s profile using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is presented. Because sometimes a design it’s not the perfect result of the primary expectations and due to the given orders of importance to the facts that define the preliminary design, and to ensure that the best accuracy and quality are out-turned; I have incorporated the (AHP) with computer-aided tools into the ship design and selecting procedure to improve outline and construction efficiency and performance.
Several relevant factors based on the most common features that are taken into consideration during the design process are used as the selection criteria in ranking the yacht that will best fit the profiled customer. The contribution of this work is to apply a well-known decision making procedure in a way to help designers and potential customers better identify an appropriate ship/yacht without having to go through a more extensive evaluation process and avoiding the delay or extra changes that might appear during or after the design or while selecting the yacht.
