Effect of Tube Diameter on Heat-Transfer Characteristics of Two-Row Plate Finned-Tube Heat Exchanger / 管徑對雙排板鰭管式熱交換器之熱傳特性的影響

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 機械工程學系 / 102 / The present study applies the experimental and numerical methods to predict the average heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer coefficient under the isothermal situation on a vertical square fin of the two-row plate finned-tube heat exchangers with four circular tubes for the in-line arrangement and staggered arrangement and various fin spacing and air velocities. These tubes may not have the same temperature in the present study. Due to the non-uniform distribution of the heat transfer coefficient, the square plate fin is divided into several sub-fin regions before performing the inverse scheme, and the average heat transfer coefficient on each sub-fin region is assumed to be unknown. Later, the inverse scheme of the finite difference method in conjunction with the Least squares scheme and experimental measured temperatures is applied to determine the present results. Results show that and values increase with the air velocity and fin spacing S. Besides, the present study also applies the commercial software in conjunction with appropriate flow model, the present experimental data and inverse results to obtain more accurate results.
