Investigate and analysis of the sewage inflow amount in the Yilan county of Luodong region wastewater sewer system / 宜蘭縣羅東地區污水下水道系統進流污水量調查與分析

碩士 / 國立宜蘭大學 / 環境工程學系碩士班 / 102 / With the progression of urbanization and the rising of environmental consciousness, it is the problem involved in causing the pollution of water body in a river and the environmental issues of public health that have continually been emphasized. So, the sewer system has necessarily become an indispensable facility in a modern city. Moreover, its popularity as well regarded as one of indexes in factional social facilities symbolizes the achievement of our country and the quality of the life largely improved. In this study, the zone within Lotong area in Yilan County belongs to residential and mixed commercial and residential districts and their wastewaters have similar property. In this paper, they are classified in the same term “domestic sewage”. Investigating the sources of sewage in sewer, I found that it included the sewage which not only came from the users who connected the tube in planning area, but also came from the non-water users, infiltration from the tube and the network, and other unidentified sources. This research compared the theory with the actual measuring of the sewage flow by on-the-spot investigation with 24 hours for one month and simulate estimate.According to facility standards of sewage treatment plant, the rate of groundwater's infiltration is 10% to 20% of the amount of water supply per person per day. After measuring and analyzing, I took 20% of the amount of water supply per person per day as the rate of groundwater's infiltration. I found that rainfall intensity and the rate of groundwater's infiltration are in direct proportion. When rainfall intensity is over 10mm/hr and the rate of groundwater's infiltration is over 20%, it had exceeded the figure of the facility standards, and the equation became the rate of groundwater's infiltration equaling 0.0273 multiplying by minus 0.0184. The estimated reason included mixing of rain and sewage, unidentified tubes connection, and so on. By using statistical data, this research quantified rainfall, the amount of users and other relevant factors in order to improve the problems of sewage treatment plants.
