Phenomenon of Zebrafish (Danio rerio) Life and Poison Accumulation in Tributyltin / 斑馬魚對三丁基錫急性毒及累積現象之探討

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 海洋環境工程研究所 / 102 / The zebrafish (Danio rerio) is vertebrate. It has common character with human in cardiovascular, immunity and vision system. Because it is easy to observe embryo development, the life of cycle is short and it is easy to microinjection. It is an important model in every toxicity experiment and it is to valuate danger environment.
The tributyltin (TBT) is the permanent organic pollution in the environment and it can cause many aminals’ physiology and morphology change. France was the first to ban the application of tributyltin based antifouling paints on vessels less than 25 m long in 1982. Now in Taiwan EPA, tributyltin chemical is a toxic chemical substances with control announcements after 2008.
Under the 20μg/L, the lethal rate is not apparent. 20-90μg/L, the larger number of μg/L, the lethal rate is up. Over 90 μg/L, the toxicant influence is apparent. Almost the lethal rate will be close to 100%. Results of acute toxicity show that TBT concentration of 12hr-LC50 is 76.75μg/L, 24hr-LC50 is 58.84μg/L, 36hr-LC50 is 53.47μg/L, 48hr-LC50 is 50.40μg/L, 60hr-LC50 is 49.82μg/L, 72 and 84hr-LC50 is 48.02μg/L and 96hr-LC50 is 45.79μg/L.
And then using gas chromatography/flame photometric detector (GC/FPD) for analyzing tributyltin in zebrafish body. Method comes from Taiwan EPA NIEA C502.00B. The tributyltin in zebrafish recovery rate is 66.0%-94.2%
In conclusion, hope these results can let some people to understand the tributyltin toxicity to fish. Therefore, if tributyltin accumulates in nature and goes into marine biology, the toxicity influence cannot be neglected.
