A Study on Sites Selection and Design for LNG Bunkering Terminal in Kaohsiung Port / 高雄港LNG能源碼頭區位建置之研究

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 航運管理研究所 / 102 / Due to the trend of global Green port (or Eco port) and the implementation of international emissions regulations, the demand of filling LNG for commercial ships has been gradually revealed. Howerver , there isn’t any LNG bunkering terminal for commerical ships at port in Taiwan, so this study aims to explore an important factor about sites selection and design for the LNG bunkering terminal in Kaohsiung port.In this study, by reviewing previous literatures and with reference to the current situation of the major ports in the world, has successfully established the analytical framework, which contains 4 aspects “the structure of wharf “,”the security conditions of the sitting at wharf”, “the operation costs of the bunkering terminal at wharf”,” the economic benefits of the bunkering terminal at wharf” and 13 evaluation criterias. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to examine the experts’opinions from TIPC , liner shipping companys and oil suppliers, The result indicated that, " the security conditions of the sitting at wharf " is the most important considerations for the department of aspects. In addition, "the security of harbor fairways " is the most important sub- criteria. We anticipate that the results of this study can provide a reference for Taiwan International Ports Corporation, Ltd.
