Development of Measurement System for Hull Response / 實船反應長期量測系統開發

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 造船及海洋工程研究所 / 102 / The safety and performance of modern large container ships have been seriously concerned by ship designers. In order to enhance safety and operational efficiency, the data of full-scale measurement in actual operating conditions is necessary for design reference. In the study, the monitoring system was established for measuring ship structure responses and ship motions during the operation of ships. Therefore, synchronous measurement and signal correction are utilized for measurement in order to enhance the accuracy of signals that can be trusted; meanwhile, this study aims at no-man operation and long-term automated monitoring to proceed collecting further data.
In this study, HBM equipment was used with Catman software to create the structure measuring system. The system monitored the structure responses during the operation of the ship, and hulled structure bending stress, impact pressure and bow acceleration based on Limit value and events monitoring method to trigger the action of continuous data storage. Furthermore, LabVIEW graphical language was applied to develop ship motion measuring system and analysis programs and sensors synchronization measuring structural response was analyzed by the program, and immediately grasped the condition of the ship structure.
This system had been validated in the laboratory. Further results of full-scale ship measurement can be used as the basis of ship design and maintenance.
