海洋教育議題融入國中地理課程之分析與行動研究

Abstract
Ministry of Education declares Marine Education in primary and secondary curriculum guideline in 2008. Marine Education will be added as the seventh social issue combined with the six social issues,” Gender Equity , Environment, Information, Home Economics , Human Right, Profession Development” in the Nine-Year-Curriculum in the first semester of 2011 school year. This study aims to find the development of Marine Education Issues and analyze the current issues integrated into Geography textbooks of Junior High School, and design and realize related teaching activities on the basis of Marine Competence Indications combines with the courses in the seventh grade. Furthermore, through Teacher Action Analysis, this study provides the teaching experience of Marine Education in Junior High School and offer the information for teachers to lead students to know, love and approach ocean.
The results of the study finds that there is still insufficient development in competence indication of Marine Education, and the percentage of Marine Education issues in Geography textbook is low. Issues are found to inconsistent and focused on cognition with the lack of emotion and action. Marine Education issues integrated into Geography courses are concerned with appropriate proportion; the description of learning sheets should be objective and clear; moreover, making good use of community and local resources with the development of the Self-guiding Fieldwork can be realized to the teaching goal of emotion and action in order to bring out the spirit of Marine Education. Besides, this study also finds the insufficiency of teaching hours of Geography in Junior High School. This result is the major cause to hardly realize social issues into teaching.
