碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 102 / Since 2011 the important issue about Marine Education has been implemented, it was a great milestone to Taiwan for becoming an Ocean Country. According to the policy which the Ministry of Education implemented, Tainan city also has its own target. However, back to the education surface, teachers are too busy for their jobs or lack of marine education resources that makes the marine education difficult to bring into practice, and still have room for improvement.
To carry out the Marine Education, first we have to know what do teachers need to implement the Marine Education. This paper according to the school teachers’ questionnaires which the case mentioned, knowing that in “Marine Education Policy White paper” and “Marine Education syllabuses” part, except for over 75% teachers understand slightly about “the Marine Education’s implementation schedule”, “basic idea of Taiwan is an Ocean country” and “close to ocean, Love Ocean, know ocean” this three projects, other related problems are totally trend to “do not know”. To “the Marine education’s current status of the investigation”, only one third of teachers think two hours is enough for Tainan city to implement the Marine education, over 80% of teachers thought the related resources and learning training of Marine education in desperate need of support and assistance.
Therefore this paper according to the Ministry of Education’s “Junior high and elementary school Marine education issue syllabus” separate the Marine education platform into “Marine Leisure, Marine Society, Marine Culture, Marine Science, Marine Resources” five topic and 16 projects, for the Marine education platform’s chief version for the case mentioned school, it connect Tainan city’s existing resources in each project. And hope to support teachers to learn Marine’s professional knowledge, lower the teaching burden, that the students knowing the beauty of hometown and implement the protection of ocean environment, improve the willingness to join the ocean related jobs in future. And provide subsequent reference and study for government administrative units and Implementation of school personnel in teaching material library.
