An Investigation of the Marine Culture Cognition on the Senier Pupils of the Primary School in Keelung City / 基隆市國民小學高年級學童海洋文化認知之調查研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 教育研究所 / 102 / This study aims to explore the marine cultural cognition of the senior pupils in the primary schools of Keelung City. In order to achieve the purpose, this study adopted a questionnaire based to the 5th and 6th grade pupils in public primary schools in Keelung City at first semester of year 102. Stratified cluster sampling investigation of the senior pupils’ marine cultural cognition in the primary schools of Keelung City was carried out. In the total of 612 copies questionnaire were distributed with 100% return ratio and effective ratio. However the acquired questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics t-test and Pearson’s correlation and concluded as below:

1. The marine cultural cognition of senior pupils in primary schools of Keelung City was above the middle level. Within the average, their marine history was the highest and their marine literature was the lowest.
2. The non-coastal, 6th grade and pupils involved in the marine activities were higher level than the coastal, 5th grade pupils and the others that not involved in the marine activities in the marine cultural cognition.
3. The correlations among the dimensions of the marine cultural cognition were positive effect especially between marine art and marine fisheries culture.

Finally, according to the conclusions, the suggestions are provided for schools, teachers, parents in Keelung City and the researcher in the future.
