碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 102 / The purpose of this research is to utilize the data to analyze the fish caught by the hooks and lines fisheries (including trolling, longlines, pole and line) during the year 1997~2012. By using the averaged amount of fish caught each year as the indicator, we can observe the changes of the resources in the long-term utilization of the sea areas. We examined the effects of environmental factors (sea surface temperature, rainfall, chlorophyll) and catches by stepwise regression analysis, the results are
following:
1) The annual averaged caught in Kong-Liao region indicated that the average catch was 1939 kg/yr/sample during year 1997~2012, in which 2003 was the highest, and 2010 was the lowest.
2) The results showed the significant changes of the amount of fish caught by the gears/trolling technique, and it was affected by the catch of Sarda orientalis. The technique of longline fishing showed the trend of decreasing, and the changes in the catch of pole and line was not obvious.
3) The yearly results showed the continuously decreasing in the amount of fish caught by the longlines, where the fish caught by the trolling/pole and line remained the same. The monthly results showed there were seasonal changes of
the amount of fish caught by the trolling and longlines, and the changes in the catch of pole and line was not obvious.
4) The relationship between the catch of the key species and the environmental factors by stepwise regression analysis was discussed, and the results indicated that Dentex abei was significantly correlated with rainfall. Sarda orientalis, Sebastiscus albofasciatus and Gymnothorax spp. was significantly correlated with chlorophyll. Gymnothorax spp., Sebastiscus albofasciatus and Dentex abei was significantly correlated with SST. In addition, these were species significantly correlated with environmental factors except for Sepioteuthis spp. and Seriola dumerili.
