Study on Welding Distortion and Thermal-Stress Analysis of Accommodation Structure / 船體住艙結構焊接變形與熱應力分析研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 輪機工程學系 / 102 / The construction process of accommodation structure always takes a long
time in outdoor work because the forming process of BLOCK needs contin-
uing work including ironwork, welding, grinding and fairness for the ship-
building. In this thesis, we focus the residual stress on the welding works
in the living cabin structure which result in the structural deformation during
welding and use the finite element method to simulate the welding processes.
The research objective focuses the welding residual stress distribution af-
terweldingonthethinplatewithtwoparallelweldingbeadinthelivingcabin.
Wewilldiscusstheinfluenceofresidualstressontheweldingsequence, with/
without orifices and continue/discontinue welding bead with five different
welding types.
The results indicate that the distribution of thermal residual stress of op-
posite welding sequence would more uniform than parallel sequence. The
residual stress gradually vanishes in opposite welding sequence which can
cut down the workload and make welder suggestion for working site. The
continuous welding bead is recommended for the partition structure with the
orificeoftheonsite. It can improve welding efficiency and reduce work time.
