碩士 / 國立臺東大學 / 生命科學系碩士班 / 102 / The nearly 600 mm precipitation brought by Typhoon Kammuri during August 5, 2002, caused large scale collapsing in Young-Chiau creek and threatened the main road bridge. The Soil and Water conservation Bureau of Agriculture Council of Taiwan government conducted a series of soil and water conservation engineering ecological engineering concept during 2003-2004, and entrusted the ecological lab ofNational Taitung University a project to investigate the biodiversity of fish, shrimp and crab by electric fishing rod from 2002 to 2005. The results showed that the biodiversity of these aquatic animals were abundant in the late 2002 , nearly nothing during constructing period from 2002 to 2004, and a little mark of recovery after construction during 2005. The investigation of this study was done separately in March(dry season) and June(the rainy season) during 2011 after six years later of construction to evaluate the water and soil conservation construction kept with ecological engineering principles or not, using the 19 principles of Mitsch and Jorgensen(2004). The biodiversity investigation showed that the aquatic animals clumped in some water abundant area in dry season, and more widespread in rainy season. For the water flow rate is the key factor to influence the biodiversity of Young-Chiau creek, we suggest the ecotechnology designation of water and soil conservation engineering should use holistic approach to integrate irrigation system. And for most aquatic animal are migratory species from ocean to stream, we also suggest to remove or decrease the height of sediment storage dam.
