Study of Acoustic Scattering from Thin Shell / 水下薄殼體之目標強度研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 工程科學及海洋工程學研究所 / 102 / In the sonar equation, target strength is the parameter representing the reflectivity of the target under the water. This thesis studies the target strength based on the spherical shell scattered theory and analyze the target strength of fluid-filled thin shells with various geometry. The thesis is mainly involved in three parts. The first part is the computational result of the spherical shell scattered field according to analytic solution[1] ,and comparison with the simulation of the dodecahedron shell by the finite element method (COMSOL). The second part is to verify simulation results by the experiment data of the shell target. The third part is to analyze the various factors affecting the target strength by studying different geometry of fluid-filled thin shells with numerical simulation (COMSOL).
