碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 漁業科學研究所 / 102 / The purpose of this study is using feed with different concentrations of β-glucan on white shrimp, and examine the variance of total haemocyte count (THC), prophenoloxidase (proPO), superoxide anion (O2-), phagocytic rate (PR), phagocytic index (PI). It is investigate the effect of β-glucan on innate immune response of white shrimp and observed the immune parameter, survival rate of white shrimp which injected the pathogens at different fed time points. It can be analyze the appropriate dosage and frequency of feeding for the aquaculture industry.
Section I, different dietary doses (1、2、4 g / kg diet) of β-glucan were used. The result showed that the THC, proPO, O2- production ratio, PR and PI were higher significantly (P<0.05) than the control group. The high-dose group (4 g / kg diet) can enhance the immune parameters fastest (THC, proPO, PR, PI). The low-dose group (1 g / kg diet) take a more time to increase immune parameters.
Section II, white shrimp after injected the Vibrio alginolyticus compared with the Blank group, the immune parameters were significantly reduced. The high-dose group (4 g / kg diet) can enhance the immune parameters fastest, and the survival rate of white shrimp which injected V. alginolyticus after 48h at different fed time points is 40、80、70、60、70、80 % (day 0、1、3、5、7、10). The low-dose group (1 g / kg diet) take a more time to increase immune parameters, and the survival rate of white shrimp which injected Vibrio alginolyticus after 48h at different fed time points is 40、70、50、50、60、60 % (day 0、1、3、5、7、10).
These results indicate β-glucan can effectively enhance the innate immune response and the resistance against Vibrio alginolyticus of white shrimp.
