碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 材料科學與工程系 / 102 / In this study, chitosonic acid was blended into alginate hydrogel. The mechanical properties of the resulting hydrogels were characterized using rheometer. The swelling behavior and other biocompatibility were also evaluated for the applicability of this hydrogel as a wound dressing. The results showed that after crosslinking with calcium ions, the viscosity, storage modulus and loss modulus of the hydrogel increased with the addition of chitosonic acid. The results of biocompatibility test against L929 fibroblasts showed that the hydrogels were non-toxicity for L929 fibroblasts, although the proliferation was inhibited slightly when the content of chitosonic acid was higher. Overall results demonstrated that alginate-chitosonic acid hydrogel exhibited the potential for wound dressing applications.
